How much does an A to B delivery cost?
It depends on the distance, the size of the load and whether it needs one person or two. We quote a clear fixed price before we start, not an hourly rate that creeps, so what we say on the phone is what you pay. There is no charge for the quote and no obligation to book.
Do you deliver large or awkward items like furniture and appliances?
Yes. Sofas, wardrobes, white goods, mattresses, garden furniture and flat-pack deliveries are all routine for us, and they are exactly the things most parcel couriers will not take. We use a Luton van with a tail lift and blankets and straps, and we can usually get an item into the room you want rather than leaving it on the doorstep.
Are my items insured while you are carrying them?
Yes. We are fully insured for goods in transit, and we pack and secure everything properly for the journey rather than relying on luck. If something is especially valuable or fragile, say so when you book and we will plan how it travels.
